I have been a piano instructor both full-time and part-time for the past 45 years, having taught independently at various studios throughout the Chicago, Illinois area, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I have also been a voice and accordion instructor for the past 6 years. In 1991, Baldwin held a "Night of Mozart" performance at the Lyric Opera, I performed with other Baldwin teachers.

I studied Piano Performance at Interlochen Academy of Arts affiliated with the University of Michigan. Having been selected to perform at the All-State Honors Piano Recital, I studied under Joseph Banowetz, former music professor at Juilliard School of Music. Additionally, I studied Piano Performance at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, and American Conservatory of Music under Denis Moffat, former music and composition professor.

Belonging to music associations in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois, I have had many students in both district and state solo and ensembles receiving top scores for their performances. Not only giving many recitals throughout the years, I have also performed at different churches and charity club organizations. I am a member of the Steinway Educational Program.

I wish to always be an instructor who motivates and encourages the students to go as far as they want to. I prefer to start out a student at 7+ years of age, as it will be easier for them to read music. I use many methods to help in the advancement of the student. I teach classical, sacred, Broadway, jazz, and pop music genres.
