INTRODUCTORY APPOINTMENT

Per your contact information expressing interest in taking on-line lessons, I will send you an e-mail to set up a consultation appointment via Zoom. The purpose of this appointment will be to discuss your music level, fees, scheduling of lessons, types of materials to be used and where to purchase them. The cost of this appointment will be $10.00.

LESSON

The lesson fee is $20.00 per 30-minute session, payable prior to each lesson. Monthly fees are also acceptable and payable on the first lesson of the month. We can discuss 45- or 60-minute lessons.  In typical weeks, I give lessons Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central time.  This will be discussed during the introductory appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 24-hour notice is required when canceling a lesson. Some acceptable cancellations are illness, power/internet outages, family emergencies and holidays. If a notice is not given, the student may be liable for that lesson.

REFERRALS

If a current student refers me to a new student who signs up for lessons, the current student will receive a free lesson.

DISCOUNTS

There may be times during winter holidays that students may receive a discount. This usually gets discussed towards the end of the year.

I accept PayPal exclusively for all payments. My PayPal payment link is seen below.  Information is readily available on the PayPal website detailing how to use this system.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Internet makes possible video-conferencing between great distances.  I am open to USA, Canadian, United Kingdom students conversant in English.  One challenge to international lessons is how to secure the teaching materials we select.

ZOOM SOFTWARE

The Zoom video-conference software is available for Windows, Mac and Linux computers.  You can download the client (to install on your computer) from the Zoom website.
